Dust off the winter blues and Swing into Spring! For our first Seasonal dance of the year we ask you to wear your brightest of outfits and bring your sunniest steps… We will create a colourful, positive atmosphere and lots of dancing to really get you back into your groove.

7-8pm – Steals Workshop with Suky and Pete
8-11.30pm – Live Music from Tom Chapman trio plus vintage music with the finest Swing Era DJs
If you’d like to join in with our class, we will start off the evening with a Steals Workshop with Suky and Pete from 7-8pm. You will need to have a basic knowledge of moves for this, 6 count moves, swing outs etc. You can purchase a “Class & Social” ticket below.
Our class will be following by our social dance with different vintage DJs and and live music from the incredible Tom Chapman Trio. You can purchase a “Social Only” ticket below.
What are Steals?
Steals are a really fun element of partnered Lindy Hop. They usually take place at the end of social dances and also in Birthday Jams, but you can do them at any point during a social dance! As long as there are 3 of you… you’re good to go!
Essentially, one couple is dancing in the centre and other people take turns to steal one of the dancers and become the new partnership! In this workshop, Suky and Pete will take you through the process of Steals and teach you how to get in on the action – and also how to get out!
Steals will help improve your rhythm, knowledge of the moves and help you to find your personality in the dance. Plus it’s loads of fun to do!
