What is Suga bomb & Man Jam?
Suga Bomb provides followers with a strong understanding of the required skills on which to develop their individual dance style and be an amazing follower.

Man Jam will be 8 hours of workshops with Martyn Nelson helping leaders improve their confidence, core strength, leading capabilities, balance and style. This year we’ll be mirroring the suga bomb workshops so you can work together during and after the weekend on the same concepts.

The weekend also includes a social dance on Saturday evening and on Sunday we’ll have a tea dance.

What to expect
After last years massive success we couldn’t wait to get Trisha back again for her Followers boot camp! Levels 1 & 2 of Suga Bomb are together, so you’ll all get Trisha Sewell and Suzanne Grubham for all workshops.

Content will be fresh and new. Leave with a guaranteed feeling of being energised, inspired, more engaged and
responsive in your dance.

Swing surgery
Your opportunity to ask the questions you’ve always wanted to understand and know about our dance and your role in it. This will happen at the end of the workshop, as per your request! Both Dr Martyn and Dr Trisha will be on hand to dish out some Swing Therapy.

Your Teachers

Trisha Sewell  has built up a reputation for being one of the most influential teachers within the European Swing Scene. Has been teaching since 1997 and on the international scene since 2003. For 10 years she contributed to establishing the first European swing dance brand and the biggest of its time. And now, she’s coming to Moseley to teach you!

Suzanne Grubham studied classical ballet, tap and jazz dance from a young age and trained in contemporary dance with the Birmingham Youth Dance Company before gaining a first class degree in Dance and Professional Practice. She’s the teacher we all know and love from our regular Swing Era classes.
