Celebrate the festive season with The Swing Era at our annual Christmas Swing Dance! Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have never tried swing before, everyone is welcome. We’ll kick off the evening with a fun beginner taster class before filling the dance floor with festive swing tunes, social dancing and plenty of Christmas cheer. Dig out your favourite Christmas outfit—whether it’s a classy festive look, a vintage holiday dress, a Christmas shirt, or the world’s most outrageous Christmas jumper. Dressing up isn’t essential, but it definitely adds to the fun! A performance is planned as well as some quick speeches and obligatory Christmas Carols.
Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great music, friendly faces and an evening full of dancing, laughter and holiday spirit.
Bring your friends or come along solo—we’ll make sure you feel right at home. Festive outfit on. Dancing shoes on. Let’s celebrate Christmas, Swing Era style!
Additional notes:
The taster class will be short and fun – probably say 3.10pm to 3.30pm.
We hope to run a speed Shim Sham contest – fun & casual – just jump in on the night. 🙂
