Get ready to swing out into summer! Our shiny summer shindig is happening on Saturday 27th June, and we’d love to see you there. 💃🕺
We’re back at The Moseley Hive, our favourite cosy, community‑powered spot for an evening of dancing, laughter, and absolutely fantastic moves.
🕖 Evening Schedule
7:00pm – 8:00pm — Taster Icebreaker Class
Perfect if you’re brand new, brushing up, or just want to warm up with some friendly faces.
8:00pm – 10:30pm — The Summer Ball
Our DJs will be spinning the best swing, jazz, and vintage grooves to keep the floor buzzing until close. And yes, there will be a chance to show off everything you’ve learned in our Shim Sham, Tranky Doo and Big Apple workshops!
Everybody eats when they come to our dance!
In true Swing‑Era spirit, where it seems at least half the songs were about food, we’ll have our legendary shared snack table.
Bring your bakes, your treats, and your best Shoo Fly Pie if you dare!

A little Prohibition‑Era flair
Swing‑era style might’ve meant bathtub gin in teacups and dancing ’til dawn behind closed doors… but lucky for us, things are a whole lot easier these days.
We are not running a bar but you’re still very welcome to BYO favourite “moonshine” (in the modern, legal sense 😄), but if you’re travelling light, there are shops just across the road to keep you well supplied.

Whether you’re a seasoned hopper, a curious first‑timer, or someone who just loves good music and good company, this is your night. Dress up, dress down, go vintage, go comfy , wear a vintage chicken suit if that’s your truth 🦖, just bring your best energy and dance with us!
