1920s New Orleans style – Get ready to be transported to the Honky-Tonks of New Orleans with ‘The Ramshackles’ who are out to celebrate the centenary of the 1920s in style. Taking inspiration from Louis ‘Satchmo’ Armstrong himself, this band is led by inventive trumpet playing, traditional washboard rhythm and bold brass bass. Get ready to trip the light fantastic! The Rusty Dustys
Classics from the swing era – Led by jazz piano and brass bass this fantastic ensemble will transport you back in time to the Savoy Ballroom in 1930s Harlem. Whether you’re swaying to Ella Fitzgerald or jitterbugging to Benny Goodman Rusty Dusty’s will take you through the swinging 30s and continue to bop through the 1940s. Band leader Tom Moore.
The Rhythm Remedies
Swing music for swing dance events – Dance the night away with Martyn Nelson and the Rhythm Remedies. This talented band of jazz musicians from Birmingham play to Classic Jazz standards specifically for swing dancers to bring the very best of authentic swing music to swing dance festivals across the UK and beyond.
