This course will work progressively from Level 1, using the skills that you have gained and improving these further. In this level you will learn many more authentic lindy hop moves (including the swing out, tandem, Charleston, and so on). We recommend this course for dancers who have progressed from the Level 1 course, and also dancers who have been dancing for longer and are looking to strengthen their overall technique.

You have been in the Level 1 course for at least 3 months, or longer as advised by your teachers
You have done a Level 1 course in Charleston and a Level 1 course in 6-count and 8-count Lindy Hop and feel confident in the footwork
This is also the ideal level to start in case you have danced for over a year at other dance schools, but have not danced with The Swing Era yet.
You have started attending some social dances
Note: If you are thinking of signing up to a Level 2 Course and you haven’t completed a Level 1 Course at The Swing Era before then please contact your teachers before doing so. We recommend all dancers who want to progress to a next level to come and have a chat with us as well.
